The article that I chose to review was PC World's 25 Days That Changed Everything. In this article PC World highlights the 25 days within the last 25 or so years that they think changed the world. PC World celebrated their 25th anniversary last year and celebrated with this article. I hope the podcast gives you a good idea of what the article talked about. Enjoy!

1st Podcast
I was very excited to complete this task. I listen to the tutorial online once and took notes. I choose to use the sermon that was given to us. It took me a couple minutes to figure out how to get that file into audacity. Once in audacity I realize that I had no clue where to start so I listened to the tutorial again while I worked on creating my own podcast. Editing the file to what I wanted was easy and fun. I really enjoyed learning how to cut and change the file that was given. Next, I struggled to figure out how to import it into iTunes. I ended up just saving the file to my desktop and then dragging it into iTunes. My version of iTunes is not the same as the version that I watch in the tutorial so it took some searching on my part to find the right way to compress the file. The hosting server that I choose to use is Mobile Me. I am new to Mobile Me and really have no idea how to use it. I played around with Mobile Me for ten minutes then figured out how to upload the Podcast into my account. The easiest part of this task was the end. I got the share URL and placed it into the blog. I really enjoyed this task and look forward to practice in the future and using this tool in my class. Enjoy!

NPR Education Podcast
I was really excited to be given this assignment last week because I listen to podcasts often. I usually listen to sermons from Rock Harbor Church in Costa Mesa. I have never listen to anything besides sermons from various churches actually. I decided to subscribe to NPR Education, Pixel Perfect and Hungry Nation. I have yet to listen to the Pixel Perfect latest podcast but I did listen to the NPR Education podcast. I was not sure what to expect because I have never listen to NPR radio before. The session was only 7 minutes long but discussed two topics. The first was about a school where a Principle banned the word "memp". The second podcast was about a University that was open in Saudi Arabia. The school cost 1 billion dollars to build and is controversial in the country because it allows women and men to attend school and classes at the same time. This allowance is the first in the country. Conservitive Saudis protested against this change because it goes against their cultural norms. The reporter interviewed an American student who was attending the school for bio-chemistry. He mentions attending class with other western students and also traditional Saudi women. It was very interesting to hear about a school that is on the other side of the world.
